Terms of service
Last updated 12 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Hatchery3D (hatchery3d.com), run by Dennis Kortsch, a sole trader in Norway ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. Contact: support@hatchery3d.com.
The service
Hatchery3D turns a description or an image into a rigged, animated 3D character as a .glb file. Generation uses third-party AI models, so results vary and can contain flaws. Check every asset before you use it.
Your account
You need an account to use Hatchery3D, and you must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens in your account.
Credits and plans
- Generating assets costs credits.
- Every new account gets 100 free credits once. They don't expire.
- Pro ($29 a month) and Studio ($79 a month) are monthly subscriptions. Each paid month sets your plan balance to 3,000 or 8,000 credits. Unused plan credits don't carry over. Plan credits are used before free credits.
- Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and can't be exchanged for money.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically each month until you cancel. Prices are in USD; Stripe may show and charge them in your local currency.
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you've paid for, then your plan credits end. Your free credits stay.
- An upgrade is charged right away, minus the unused part of your current month, and starts a new month with the larger allowance. A downgrade costs nothing now and applies from your next renewal.
- If a payment fails, we and Stripe will try again and let you know. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you're a consumer in the EEA or the UK, you can withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of buying it and get a full refund, as long as you haven't used any of its credits. When you use plan credits during those 14 days, you ask us to start the service immediately and accept that you lose the right of withdrawal for that month. To withdraw, email support@hatchery3d.com. Other refunds are at our discretion.
Your content and the assets you generate
- You keep all rights to the descriptions and images you submit. You give us permission to process them, and to pass them to our AI model providers, only to generate your assets.
- As far as we're concerned, the assets you generate are yours. You can use them in commercial projects, including games you sell. We don't claim any rights to them.
- Generated assets can resemble existing work, and some AI models come with their own license terms. You're responsible for making sure your inputs and your use of the assets don't infringe anyone's rights.
Acceptable use
Don't use Hatchery3D to create anything illegal, to infringe others' rights (for example by recreating characters you don't have rights to), to abuse or overload the service, or to resell access to it. We can suspend accounts that break these rules.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Hatchery3D available and reliable, but we provide it as it is and can't guarantee it will always work or that every result will be usable. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.
Ending your account
You can stop using Hatchery3D and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can end the service for you if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms; if we stop the service altogether, we'll refund unused paid months.
Changes and law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies; you can cancel before then. Norwegian law applies. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live and can bring a claim in your local courts. See also our privacy policy.
