Hatchery3D (hatchery3d.com) is run by Dennis Kortsch, a sole trader in Norway, who is the controller for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: support@hatchery3d.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture. Sign-in is handled by Clerk.
- Billing data: your plan, subscription status, credit balance and a history of credit changes. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- What you generate: the descriptions and images you submit and the 3D assets created from them.
- Technical data: request logs (IP address, browser, pages requested), which our host keeps for a few days to run and secure the service.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you signed up for: your account, credits, generations and subscription (contract).
- To bill you and keep accounting records (legal obligation).
- To keep the service secure and fix problems (legitimate interest).
We don't sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking tools.
Who processes it for us
- Clerk (sign-in and accounts)
- Stripe (payments, subscriptions and invoices)
- Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage and email forwarding)
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google
- AI model providers such as fal.ai and Replicate, which receive your descriptions and images to create meshes, rigs and animations
Some of these providers are in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
We only use cookies that the service needs: Clerk's cookies keep you signed in, Cloudflare's protect the site from abuse, and Stripe's are used on its checkout page. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data and generations while your account exists. When you delete your account or ask us to, we delete them within 30 days. Billing records are kept as long as Norwegian accounting law requires, generally five years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, or ask for it in a portable format. Email support@hatchery3d.com. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) or the authority in your country.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site before it applies. See also our terms of service.
